Trash Day

… or why I need to have my camera on me at all times.

Among the sweet pickings on Franklin Street this morning — a discarded snare drum with “Hogan Hamfist” scrawled across the skin. Further along the sidewalk I almost tripped over the base drum. Oh, Hogan, sorry your mom finally cleaned out the basement.

Oh, my! I had my camera with me and yet was late for work, so didn’t stop to take a picture of the human-sized Tweety Bird somebody on my block was throwing out. It looked so sad, all crumpled up and forlorn…

Last week a coworker caught me taking a picture of a discarded vintage exercise bike. Luckily he was running late so the conversation didn’t get beyond “uh, good morning?” shrug, and “gotta run.”

Thanks for another informative web site. Where else could I get that kind of information written in such a perfect way? I’ve a project that I am just now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such info.
