Strategic Engagement

The Counterterrorism and Humanitarian Engagement Project’s activities span legal research, policy analysis, and strategic engagement initiatives. By engaging actors across international humanitarian NGOs, intergovernmental agencies, academic centers, and governments, the Counterterrorism and Humanitarian Engagement Project seeks to capture, examine, and inform relevant actors’ (sometimes overlapping and sometimes countervailing) perspectives and approaches.

The CHE Project aims to inform policy through academically relevant research alongside informal strategic engagement with humanitarian, government, advocacy, and academic actors. Through this combination of research and engagement, the Project attempts to identify challenges and forecast issues as they arise. The Project’s strategic engagement initiatives thereby help to find and shape areas where key actors can identify new platforms and connections. The central facet of the Project’s strategic engagement initiatives is its Working Group.
