I have a special appreciation for the name Dawn, for “dawn” as a concept, because it speaks to the very way in which I want to live my life– with a willingness and ability to see the world through new eyes every day, to leave the past behind, to forgive and forget, to move forward. I have started this blog as a way to shed new light on the ongoing issues that occupy my thoughts.
Writing is therapeutic. And sorting through and attempting to translate ideas into words often leads to a fresh perspective and a deeper understanding of a situation. At times, it may even uncover an inner truth, the root of a problem, … and the solution.
Yet, no matter the conclusion of the points I ponder here, I intend to wake up each morning with a renewed mind and to enjoy the blessing of the new beginning that this day promises.
