Bird traffic, out of control

Between flights in and out of O’Hare last Saturday, I caught this formation of geese flying overhead. Before Flight 1549, this wouldn’t have worried me.

  2. Doc, I am not sure of that reaction. While there is a serious personal safety concern, there is also the fact that the birds were in the air first.

Then again. If it were not for man and the globally reduced bird population, there would be areas – even in the U.S. and UK – that would be ianccessible via air travel due to the massive bird populations that used to exist.

What should we do to resolve the rights of birds with the desires of man?

  3. Both, thanks Doc.
