So automatic has it become that I just tried to close the image in your post.

Ha! I thought the same thing after I put it up. 🙂

But does it open another tab if you click “login to twitter”? And then after loggin in, will the page automatically know that you’ve just logged in? Hate it when I have to reload the whole page. Why do they still use this method anyways?

Playing Devil’s advocate, what’s wrong with this? No more sign in forms, less passwords to remember, less spam email.

I hate pop-over windows. Simple as that. The message had nothing to do with it. Could have said anything.

The worst part to these pop-overs is that they sometimes come in on a delay after the page has loaded. On my iPad, I’ll load an article, tap to zoom in on the text, start reading, then find the screen partially obscured and have to zoom out again (if the page will allow me) in order to get rid of it.
