Press: “Digital Public Library of America Boosts Public Library Representation”

“Partly out of concern that it may have been too narrowly constituted, the Digital Public Library of America recently expanded its steering committee to include three prominent public librarians.

“Carla Hayden, the chief executive officer of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore; Luis Herrera, city librarian for the city and county of San Francisco; and Amy Ryan, president of the Boston Public Library, were all added to the 17-member committee on April 22.”
