Press: “A Digital Public Library of America: Perspectives and Directions”

The Fourth Annual International Conference hosted by ILIAC (International Library Information and Analytic Center), the Harriman Institute and Columbia University Libraries, and the U*N*A*B*A*S*H*E*D Librarian will take place at Columbia University on October 11, 2011. “Thanks to having arguably the three best speakers in the U.S. on the topics of a national digital public library (Robert Darnton), copyright issues and digital libraries (Pamela Samuelson), and the publishers’ take on all of this (Tom Allen), the key issues, including the Settlement and its fallout, will receive a critical examination at this conference…”
