Press: “NDPL: Hello in There”

“Much of the final discussion revolved around local scanning and digitization projects; these form the underlying content foundations of both DPLA and NDPL. Emily Gore’s “Scannebago” concept from North Carolina has captured the imaginations of many librarians as a way of leveraging local skills and knowledge while augmenting local partnerships with archives, historical societies, and research universities. Chrystie Hill, consulting for IMLS, indicated via twitter that the government agency would provide support for NDPL initiatives offering such local assistance.”
