Erping has decades of experience studying China and providing insight into the country’s current and past affairs.

A graduate of Beijing International Studies University, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Erping focuses on China studies as well as global affairs. He co-founded two New York-based associations for scholarly research and seminars on East Asian culture, arts, and geopolitics.

Erping has spoken before U.S. Congress, European parliaments, and at the United Nations about China’s human rights abuses. He has also given presentations to top universities and appeared on television for commentary on the latest headlines on China.

Erping’s hobbies include travel, Greek philosophy, Chinese history, meditation, a bowl of New England clam chowder, and of course, a warm cup of freshly brewed tea.
