Purpose
The Housing Priority Area Group advocates for public policies that address the impact of the foreclosure crisis on African American households in the Boston area. The four communities in Boston with the highest percentage of minorities – Mattapan, Roxbury, Dorchester, and Hyde Park – accounted for more than 75% of Boston’s foreclosures in 2007. Come help us work to pass much needed legislation that tackles this crisis.
