About Me

Izhari Mawardi is the former Programme Officer for Donor Coordination with the think-tank UNDP- BAPPENAS supporting the National Development Planning Agency Republic of Indonesia for long term planning of Aceh region post Boxing Day tsunami 2004 and Conflict resolution of MOU Helsinki 2005. During the span of four years, he has facilitated debottlenecking of several strategic works involving various donors funded reconstruction project in Aceh and Nias. Izhari has strong decision-making knowledge and was a member for the creation of 2 Presidential Regulation (executive order) crucial for the transitional period of Post Disaster in both regions. Recently, he organized the Regional Workshop on Horizontal Inequalities and Conflict Prevention with CRISE Oxford University. His hobby is reading International Relations and training for Taekwondo. Izhari holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University graduating as a Singapore Scholar (under the Singapore cooperation program), Bachelors in Public Policy Management from State Administration Agency Republic of Indonesia, The School of Administration, graduating as Valedictorian and Certificate in Forced Migration from Oxford University, UK. He is currently pursuing his Master of Public Policy in the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government (HKS) and continue work as a part time policy consultant.
