IPPI Questions for Analysis: What are we to make of the politicalization of religion? Does the preconceived idea of a “Jewish” government arresting a Muslim make the act of the arrest invalid in the eyes of Arab social justice and beyond? If the arrest is justified, how can the rule be applied under Israeli Law so that such an arrest is in accordance with the Palestinian population? Is this achievable or is a supranational court needed to address such occurrences?
