When most of us think of cookies, especially at this time of year, we think of the kind we eat. But when Andrew Richardson of the Harvard Forest thinks of cookies, he may well be thinking of tree cookies. Curious? Stop by the exhibit cases in the Northwest Building lobby to find out more. The display, organized by Lisa DeCesare of the Botany Libraries, features different uses of wood. Some may surprise you!

Hello world!

1

Welcome! This is the blog for the new Library Lab project that will include exhibit cases in the lobby of the Northwest Building and associated activities.

The cases are being custom built by Jan Sacco and her team from the Exhibitions department of the Harvard Museum of Natural History. They will be placed across from the Oxford Street entrance to NWB, opposite the whales against what is now a blank wall. The multidisciplinary exhibits will highlight the connections between library resources and scientific research. We are very excited about this opportunity to showcase the work of our science faculty and students! So – watch that space!
