Ever wondered what “Alt Gr” stands for? Today, while working on a Sun Ray machine, I noticed the key said “Alt Graph”. Today’s key learning: The true meaning of this key is “alternate graphic”, according to IBM. Oh well.

C, C++, and Java are the “big ones”, followed by PHP, Perl and Python. See the graph over time. Does anyone know of an updated version?

The GIMP, the popular Open Source Photoshop-like tool, might eventually get a new user interface. It’s been about time!
