Al Gore at Harvard

November 2, 2008 | Comments Off on Al Gore at Harvard

We had the pleasure of meeting Al Gore, former vice president of the United States as he visited Harvard’s “Green is the New Crimson” to promote awareness of global warming and sustainable energy. Al Gore was a graduate from Harvard College, his college transcript was riddled with C’s, according to Boston Globe. Eventually, he took the high road in joining the army to fight in Vietnam, instead of dodging the responsbility like many of his classmates at the time. Although the day was rainy and chilly, everyone from lecturers to students greatly enjoyed the talk and was once again deeply impressed by Mr. Gore’s humor and intriguing storytelling skills.
