The Longest Now

Perhaps it has something to do with the circles you’re in. I happened to be at a newspaper shortly after Reagan died, and though the staff was dealing with getting the news out, they weren’t solely focused on it. Even though I was around lots of news librarians during the past few days, I haven’t heard many people talking about it.

Poor you. Trying to get away from Reagan and there it was in the ceremony. At least it only lasted for a moment.

I wasn’t trying to get away from word of his death; just interested in the differential spread of memes.
