The Lost Contribution

I was at a loss for words last night while updating my blog. Since most of my time since Thursday has been spent hanging out at the condo taking care of Matt, there really wasn’t much to write about (he mostly sleeps). However, I started rambling on about going out to lunch with my friend, Jason (one of the 3 Jason’s I know). Within no time I found that I had created a rather long blog entry describing our lunch at “The Butcher Shop”, the South End of Boston, and the friendly gay man who sat next to us at The Butcher Shop and told us about his entire adult life within the time it took us to eat our thirteen dollar sandwiches. Even with all that we know about him (he’s 46, Greek-Sicilian/Irish, lives in Medord, used to live in the North End, works in Kendall Square for a technology company, broke up with his long-term boyfriend before moving to Medford, is now dating a 30-year old African with a British accent, loves to travel to Mykonos, likes Provincetown, isn’t into the circuit scene, and doesn’t use public transit), we still didn’t exchange names. How “Boston” of us!

Anyway, after being satisfied with my entry, I hit the “Create News Item” button…and the freakin’ website went down and I lost the whole thing! It was so late at night I didn’t have the energy to type it again. And now that I can’t recall what I wrote about, this entry is short and dull. Besides, our groceries are supposed to be delivered any minute and I don’t want to lose what I’ve written again. Ugh. Perhaps something extraordinary will happen this afternoon…while Matt and I lay on the couch and watch DVD’s. Instead of creating our own excitement, we’ll wait for it to come to us. And you’ll be the first to know.

Hey, where did my comments go to???? and why can’t I be a member of your little gas community? It won’t let me — tells me that I am already a member, but my standard password doesn’t work. I just wrote about you on my blog.
