Sex on the Beach Isn’t Just a Drink

Ah, Cape Cod. Driving through Falmouth you’ll find a lovely typical weather-shingled cottage with green grass and an adorable little display of flowers at the side of the road. There’s even a little sign telling people to take some flowers and put some money in a little tin.

Such charm. So quaint. There must be an elderly retired couple living in there, right? Perhaps they’re waiting for their grandchildren to visit for the summer?

WRONG!

This charming little house is apparently the base for a Cape Cod prostitution ring. Inside, police found marijuana, money, a rifle, and their little black book of clients! WOO HOO! I love it.

Apparently, this little black book includes “prominent” political figures. Though, I must say that makes me wonder….prominent by what standards? I mean, are the Kennedy’s involved? Or is it just a town manager or a local selectman? Either way, I can’t wait to find out!

In other news, I’m planning on heading to New York City for the holiday weekend. The weather is supposed to be flawless (no humidity, bright sunny skies). YAY. Chris and John invited me to stay with them as they house sit in the Village. So, Fung Wah – here I come!

Awww, come on, give the girls a break. There’s just not a lot to DO on the Cape during a grisly winter like the one we’ve just finished! Karl, do you remember the brothel on 28 in Yarmouth many years ago; it was fronted as a bridal salon, with these elaborate mannequins in the front window and patrons (hem hem) could determine whether the place was open for …um…business or not by the way the mannequins were turned in the window. Can you imagine getting it wrong and going in, all horned up and stampeding over some Bridezilla To Be and the tearful MOTB turned out in taffeta and tulle? All very Seinfeld-esque if you ask me. The building is still there, completely neglected and falling apart, but when I have to drive by, I always check to see if the mannequins are back…

I Heart New York – give the city my love! XO!

Oooooh, New York! Sounds like a good time…but even more of a good time is the Fung Wah bus. I adore Chinese pop music.

It sounds like going to NYC is much better than going to the Cape where there is so much scandal. 🙂 Have a terrific time in the big apple!
