Quick HGC Update
Tonight’s HGC meeting started with a reintroduction of HGC representatives. There was a recap of HGC’s involvement in Public Service Week and the university-wide Leadership Summit organized by HGC which took place last week. We are considering how to use the momentum generated at the Summit for future events to bring together student leaders from across Harvard University’s graduate schools. This Thursday (10/29), there will be a “Beer School” beginning at 5:30pm at Queenshead. Sam Adams will provide 4-6 tastings with snacks for $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance or the day of the event at Queenshead. HGC will host a “First Thursday” happy hour at Lir in Boston on November 5th. Drink tickets will be available. The next speed dating event will be on November 12th. Registration opens next Tuesday online at harvardspeeddating.com.
