On February 26th, I gave a talk on “Making Human First AI & Robots: Theory and Practice” at the Future Robotics Organization, Waseda University.
This event focus on the possibilities of the cross-disciplinary approach on the future robotics.
Therefore I talked about the Project GenZAI which I’m leading from humanity and social science perspectives in the Moonshot R&D program.
We work with a diverse group of AI experts and robotics engineers, and neuroscientists to see how we can include a humanities and social science perspective.
Currently, we are doing both in-depth interviews and surveys in the US, UK, Japan and other countries. Based on this research, we will make a recommendation on the ethics of an AI driven smart robot for engineers and also present an AI (AI driven smart robot) literacy toolkit to users.
