State of Play Academy

The State of Play Academy is an exciting new initiative spinning out of the State of Play conference series. Sponsored and hosted by, the Academy will be exploring ways to teach law within a MUVE as well as study legally-related issues as they arise within MUVEs. See the official site for more information.

Lauren Gelman, Associate Director of Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet and Society, is the founding Dean of the Academy. I have the privilege of working with her to assist in both instructional design and with researching results of the many classes that will launch in fall 2006.

[This blog entry is a work in progress, and will be updated as the project evolves.]
